Target / Market Pantry Seasonal Packaging
Setting The Scene.
Target needed a seasonal approach for Market Pantry to differentiate seasonal offerings from the everyday line. The system needed to work for Holiday, Valentine's Day, Summer and Halloween. Our solution was to transform the blank white space of the everyday packaging line into a stage festooned with prop-like illustrations. The basic brand elements of the package form a proscenium within which “the action” takes place. The “cast of characters” can then traipse in and out of the stage as needed, while decorated set pieces hang from the rafters. Created with the folks at Target InHouse and with delightful illustrations from Eight Hour Day.
